Our History
Our family served on a team as church planting missionaries in Togo, Africa, for 12 years (1994-2006). Returning to the USA in 2006, Jeff worked to receive his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Brenda is currently certifying as a Life Coach.
Our Role
Using our 12 years of experience as missionaries, Jeff’s training as a marriage and family therapist, and Brenda’s training as a life coach we serve missionaries in the following ways:
- Screen, train, and counsel recruits so that they can stay on the field long-term.
- Host retreats and seminars in the USA and abroad to help the missionary teams and families remain mentally and spiritually healthy.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Help returning missionaries (including children) adjust through furlough debriefings and re-entry counseling.
Our Children
Josiah (12), Ellianna (5), and Becca (3) all lived in Togo and now consider themselves to be co-ministers in our work with Pioneer Bible Translators.
